1608 - December 2004

This was a fountain dedicating an event that happened in Cambodia in 2002, I was in a guest's staying in a room with no windows. The tiles covering the bathroom floor had also occupied the room holding my bed. The entire space had a far more interdependent existence. In an expression of assaulting melancholy, the corner of the bathroom began exuding an assertiveness that was unusual for a piece of architecture. The video of this event was accompanied by this dynamic sculpture. The picture was taken by Ryan.
